Reagan almost felt like setting fire to his homework. Which was a dangerous thought on his part, considering he would do it if he had the lighter, but he didn't keep them on him at all times, normally they were all stored away in his drawers in his dorm. There were many things he felt like lighting on fire, in fact. The school was one of them. But he would never go that far, not in a million years, because jail didn't suit him, but more because he wouldn't be able to stand the look his mom would give him from between those bars. But there was nothing wrong with lighting paper on fire, was there? Okay, well, maybe his homework was something major... But he had so much of it...
"Fuck this." Reagan mumbled, slipping a hand into his hair, his elbow resting on his knee, digging into the crease of his criss-cross position. A binder sat cradled between his winged legs. There was no use in trying to read the mess of words in the book, not when any time he tried he started to nod off. It wasn't that he found it boring, if anything if he were fully awake he'd be straight into his work, but he just couldn't keep his eyes open long enough to even read the title of the page. This was why he enjoyed the homework being mostly oral instructions. He could deal with winging 5-some pages of writing, though if he were near this point of exhaustion it wouldn't get a good proof read.
What he needed was coffee, an energy drink, something for his mind to process anything on the paper. But it didn't take very long for him to give up trying to keep his droopy eyes open, and finally he just took a guess and shoved the papers into his large and ever-building stock of chemistry notes. He then shut his binder, leaning back into the bench arm and closing his eyes. He didn't care how bad a sun burn he would get, he wasn't taking the chance of walking back to his dorm and maybe dropping right in the middle of the roads.
