The week end could only mean a couple of thing like one she could sleep late. That was what Izzi had decided to do. She had slept until the point of noon. She looked over at the clock only opening one eye as she looked around her room. After a couple of second she got out of her bed and started to get ready. She loved the weekend because she loves to sleep late. Izzi wasn’t much of a morning person, after a couple of hours she was awake.
Izzi made it down the stairs and into the kitchen where she had a glass of orange juice. She moved and took a couple of sip finishing the glass as she slipped on head phones. There was only one reason she wore head phones not because she could listen to the music. Just being she knew if she wore them then no one would hear her. And then they wouldn’t notice that she was deaf and that would be another reason for her not to be scared or nervous to talk.
She grabbed a note book and the walked out the door. Seeing that she was going to walk to the park, it would take a bit of time but she really did not have much to do. Izzi wondered around there was another reason why she loved the weekend. Was because she didn’t need to go to school, it wasn’t that she hated it; there were just so many people around. And she never likes to be in a class room or with a group of people. It just made her way too nervous.
It must have taken her less than an hour for her to get to the park. But once she was there she moved and walked over to a tree. It was a little shading but she could still feel the sun on her. Izzi moved and open her note book. Most of the time she just wrote things in it but sometimes she would draw nothing that good or anything but mostly flower. Izzi kind of forgot to bring her dog. She had a dog to help her since she couldn’t hear. But when she left the house she always forgot to bring smoke with her.

Romeo took another drag from his cigarette and walked down to the park. Most days, Romeo actually went out and did stuff but today he was just planning on hanging around. Probably seeing what trouble he could get himself into. Romeo wasn't in a complete ass mood but when he saw a brown haired girl a smirk painted across his lips. He took another quick drag of his cigarette, coughing a bit because it just didn't go right. Romeo walked over to the brown haired girl and leaned over to see what she was drawing or writing. He waved slightly. "Hey." was all he said.

Writing was a way for her to get everything out it was just a way that she could feel calm in the world. When she got bored of writing though she was draw small things. Like a leaf or a heart nothing to great. She wasn't good when it came to drawing so there was no need to bother with it. Words seemed to be her thing most of the time. She really did think that with her head phones on no one would talk to her. She moved and kept right until she felt someone stand near her. Izzi looked up to see a boy, he had a lot of tattoo and he had just said hello to her she was pretty sure. Now she was really nervous she had to say hello back but she couldn't then he would know that she was deaf. So instead Izzi just waved and smiled lightly.

"What's your name?" The boy said. Romeo had been covered in tattoos for a while now. He had got his first one at fourteen and they just started to get more and more. His entire body wasn't covered in tattoos. Which was probably better then being covered head to toe. There were a few people in Vega who's entire bodies were tattoos. He always wondered if they had their penises tattooed as well.

Izzi looked up at the boy, why did he had to talk to her. She didn't want to say her name because once she spoke a word to him he would just know that she was deaf. So instead she just point to her head phones and pretend that she could not hear him. Izzi kind of felt bad but her eyes went back to her note book. She just didn't want to get treated differently because she was deaf. And she figured that this guy didn't want to be around a girl like her. He probably wanted someone who was not deaf someone that wouldn't be nervous to talk to him.

Romeo looked down at her and said "I said ; What's your name?" He sat down, a few feet away from her. He looked over at her, not quite sure what to say. He wasn't sure who the girl was. He wasn't sure if the girl had heard him. "I'm Romeo. Not like the character...obviously." He smiled, holding a hand out for the girl to shake.

Ok so it seemed like even if she didn’t talk this boy was not going to walk away. She felt nervous she didn’t want him to know that she was deaf and if she talked then he wouldn’t like her anymore. So when he had repeat his question again she looked down at her note book and wrote her name down as she showed it to him. At least she told him what it was without having to speak. But now she started to wondered maybe this guy would think that she was stupid or something but after a couple of second she moved her note book back over to her lap and kept it there as she watched him. She wished she could know what he was thinking.
‘Romeo’ that was interesting wasn’t there a singer named that too, Izzi thought about it a bit more as she wondered. She had read the play but never really like it much but she wondered what kind of guy he was. Or why his parent named him that. She moved and shook his hand lightly. It wasn’t that she was scared to touch him. No she was just scared to talk because her voice wasn’t pretty she was deaf. And in hear head she would always be alone, with no friend, or find love because she couldn’t hear.

Romeo looked at the girl and read the notebook. "Izzi." He smiled slightly. "Alright. What were you drawing or writing?" Romeo asked. Now he was slightly curious why the girl hadn't just said his name outloud. Did her throat hurt and she didn't want to speak? Was she mute? He was curious, but he wasn't going to push and ask the girl just yet. At least the girl shook his hand. He glanced around the park. He wasn't sure exactly why Izzi was here. She was adorable and he was bored. He wasn't about to push himself to sleep with her or anything. Romeo sometimes just got bored and wanted to talk to someone.

Izzi looked back at her book and then after she heard him say her name she looked at him and nodded her head lightly. As if to agree that was his name and that he had said it right even though she couldn't really hear a thing that he was saying but reading his lips had worked out very well in the end. The surgery was something she had been thinking about all her life, well not all of it just for the most part. But she wasn't sure if it was the right thing for her to do or not. So she figured she needed to talk to someone about it. Maybe not Romeo since she couldn't even talk to the guy.
Even though she had so much to say to him. Some many things that should wanted to ask him but she couldn't. Without thinking she just said "Both" her hand went to her lips. She felt like she said it softly but now she knew that he would know so there was no reason for her to even bother no one wanted to talk to the dead girl. She didn't know what her voice sound liked but it probably wasn’t pretty either. She moved and looked down at her notebook nervous as hell.

Romeo smiled softly. The girl had put her hand to her mouth after she spoke. He raised an eyebrow. Why didn't the girl want to talk?"Alright. How old are you?" He asked. Romeo knew he was asking a lot and talking a lot to someone who clearly didn't want to talk but he couldn't help himself. It was in his personality. Maybe this was his cue to leave and shut up?

Maybe he didn't notice that her voice was different, then again maybe Izzi voice wasn’t that bad after all. If that was the case then she would have no probably with that she would be finding. She wouldn't have to do deal with worrying that her voice was bad or anything like that. However maybe the guy couldn't even tell either, Izzi looked up at him and she wanted to ask him if he could tell that she was deaf. Because if he couldn't that would mean her voice wasn't that bad and she could be with a normal people. And have a normal girl life and maybe someday have a real relationship with someone if they could handle being with a deaf girl. All these kinds of though it’s what she thought about every single day.
"I'm good you?" she said and she tried to say it soft and sweet but she wasn't sure if it would come out right. Because well her whole issue kind of bothered her a lot and she was always nervous about it that entire she didn't know how she was going to deal with it all.

Romeo nodded slightly. "I'm okay..". He shrugged slightly. Glancing at the brown haired girl again, he asked "What's your age?". Romeo hadn't caught too much of something up with her voice, even if it was obvious he was a little oblivious to everything around him. Running his hand through his hair he looked around then at the brown haired girl.
ooc i'm sick...bare with me!

This could work either the guy or no clue that she was deaf or he really didn’t care what she had an odd tone to her voice. “I’m seventeen how old are you†she asked looking over at his tattoos. She wondered how many he had and if the covered all of his body. Then the thought of how someone like him would he really is able to count all of them. In way the seemed to all blend together. Like they were all one, Izzi always thought about getting a tattoo but she figured that it would just hurt too much. “Do any of them have meaning to them†she said point at the ones on his arm. She figured if they all have meaning to them that it could be a very long conversation.
